Clamp-type steel pipe scaffolding features a small number of system components, simple installation, easy disassembly, standardized load-bearing capacity, single stress point, flexible operation, strong adaptability, and a long history of use. It was widely promoted and applied from the 1960s to the mid-1980s. It is mainly used in multi-story, medium-rise, and low-rise building construction and municipal engineering for enclosure, maintenance, construction, and decoration purposes (however, the Ministry of Transport's Document No. 89 restricts its use in hazardous and large-scale projects).
